It has been stated that Justin Timberlake is dissatisfied with the drama occurring with Britney Spears, which is “overshadowing” the release of his album. This is what we mean when we say that a source has told Page Six that he is “seething.” Just in case you were unaware of the drama, here is a quick recap:
The song “Selfish” was released by Justin, and Britney’s fans replied by ensuring that her song of the same name, which she released in 2011, topped the charts.
“I wanna apologize for some of the things I wrote about in my book,” Britney wrote in part of her Instagram post, “I am in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song ‘Selfish.'” Britney then posted an exceptionally sweet shoutout to Justin on Instagram to express her admiration for his music.
During his performance in New York City, Justin began the song “Cry Me a River” by uttering the following words: “I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely fucking nobody.”

Which brings us back to the insider who works for Page Six. According to this insider, Justin is “seething” over the drama that is “overshadowing his new music,” and he “had hoped the backlash [from Spears’ memoir] would have blown over by now so that he could focus on his new album, which he is very excited about, but every day is something new.”
This comes at a time when another source has told Us Weekly that Justin has not been allowing the admirers of Britney to bring him down. “He is confident that his music and performance will speak for themselves, and he is looking forward to reconnecting with his fans from the stage once more this time around.”
In addition, there is still another source that asserts Justin is “very much on a path forward” and is not getting “sidetracked by the negativity.”
You, Kay!
